Situated ideally for visiting the hinterland, Lismore, Bangalow and the Border Ranges or a quick drive to the beaches that stretch from Evans Head via Lennox Head to Byron Bay.
Immediately you come down the driveway, you will have a sense of space and tranquillity as the view spreads out in front of you. This is your own escape from the pressures of life.
The one-bedroom and two-bedroom cottages are situated on terraces full of native plants and flowers and fruit trees.
They are fully self-contained with large private verandahs and extensive views of the rainforest, pasture and the Pacific Ocean. Sit and watch the horses and cows graze, listen to the birds sing or watch the wedge-tailed eagles glide on the currents over the valley.
And at dusk you might see wallabies silently grazing closeby.

Pines on the Plateau is a boutique country retreat set amongst ancient pine trees and regenerated rainforest in the hinterland of the Far North Coast of New South Wales.
The lodges were built in 2004 and take advantage of the beautiful northerly aspect that over looks cattle grazing in the paddocks and across to the Nightcap Ranges with the peak of Mount Warning visible.
