Who and what is Tourism Ballina Inc.?

We are the Private Sector Tourism Industry’s Membership body, driving the growth of Ballina Coast & Hinterland tourism businesses

Our vision isthat Ballina Coast & Hinterland will be a destination popular with Australian and overseas visitors who want to enjoy the region’s man-made and natural attractions along the coast and in the hinterland.

Our Key Objectives for 2010/11:

  1. To develop a conference and functions strategy for our shire
  2. To develop a number of key co-op marketing campaigns to drive visitation & patronage
  3. Partner with industry to develop a signature event for the shire that embraces our local produce and experiences
  4. To undertake a brand development project for the Shire in conjunction with Council
  5. Work with Council, Chambers and RTA on the by-pass signage project
  6. To develop a strategic membership alliance with NRT
  7. Implement an Inaugural Ballina Tourism and Hospitality Race Day

What’s in it for YOU?

This year, we have changed the membership fee basis from a ‘size of business’ to ‘benefits based’ packages. Firstly, this brings us closer in line with other organisation and secondly, most members are now taking out one or more Website Advertising Options and we felt it appropriate to now include those favourite options in the packages offered. This simplifies the process and gives us the opportunity to add new benefits in the future.

Ballina Tourism and Hospitality now has a comprehensive range of products for the benefit of our members. It is through your Membership Fees that we are now able to offer the following:

  • A TV Advertising Commercial aired primarily in the Lismore region, covering Yamba to Tweed and west to Tenterfield and the opportunity to join forces with other operators who have commercials to produce Echo Advertising campaigns.
  • All new members receive a FREE copy of the motivational Tourism Promotional DVD for loading onto their own website, run in Reception Areas or through to rooms. This montage of Ballina Shire images, both old and new, also features the TV Commercial.
  • A top ranking tourism website, www.ballinatourism.com.au with Virtual Tour imagery from the TV Commercial and Promotional DVD.
  • The opportunity to take part in our annual signature event (New for 2010).
  • Join forces with Conference providers to present a professional approach to the competitive conference market (New for 2010).

 

Three affordable annual Memberships or a Corporate Membership Package are offered:

 

Bronze Membership                         $110

Benefits:
Business listing on www.ballinatourism.com.au with a 100 word description.

Silver Membership                           $160

Benefits as per ‘Bronze Membership’ plus:
Up to three images to accompany your website listing.

Gold Membership                             $210

Benefits as per ‘Silver Membership’ plus:
A Home Page Feature Business.
Letters of Support for grant funding and other applications.

Platinum Corporate Membership               $1,000
For those Stakeholders wishing to be involved and receive additional exposure.

Benefits as per ‘Gold Membership’ plus:
Business name and logo listed on all official correspondence, promotional material and Newsletters.
Opportunity for representatives to attend events.
Logo and acknowledgement in event programs.
Opportunity to place/display promotional products at events.
First right of refusal for sponsorship of any event.
